Mitchell, and correspondence of three of his grandchildren: General William Mitchell, John L. Mitchell, Jr., and Harriet Mitchell Fladoes. The bulk of the collection consists of clippings, books, reports, scrapbooks, photographs, photo albums, and postcards, from or about United States Army General William Mitchell. Also includes General Mitchell's diary from 1924-1926, and several unpublished manuscripts written by or about Mitchell.
